The prestigious Student Council is the Student organization at PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research serving as the bridge between the students and the administration. The Student Council functions as the primary point of contact. The ultimate motto of the Student Council is to ensure and facilitate a good ambience and provide opportunities for students to exhibit their inherent talents. The Student Council co-ordinates, manages extra-curricular and co-curricular activities under the able guidance of the faculty members. The members of the Student Council are selected by the Principal and the committee members. The council motivates students to organize innovative events and to showcase their organizing abilities which in turn inculcate Student leadership qualities and social responsibilities.
The Institution Students' Council shall consist of the following members, namely: 1.Chairperson 2.Secretary (Boy) 3.Secretary (Girl) 4.Joint Secretary (Treasurer) 5.Joint Secretary (Alumni Relations), 6.Joint Secretary (Welfare), 7.Joint Secretary (Public Relations), 8.Joint Secretary (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion EDI), 9.Joint Secretary (Academic Affairs), 10. Joint Secretary (Cultural Coordinator), 11. Faculty Advisor (Student Council).
