Our objective is to make our students as proficient engineers who can command engineering fundamentals including experimental, analytical, computational, and design capabilities. The Department of Mathematics is a Supporting Department to all Engineering Branches.
Upon completion of the prescribed program of study in mathematics, the students should be able to:
- recognize that mathematics is an art as well as a dominant foundational
tool of science with boundless applications.
- demonstrate an understanding of the theoretical concepts and axiomatic
underpinnings of mathematics.
- Demonstrate competency in mathematical modeling of complex
phenomena, problem solving and decision making.
- express a level of proficiency in quantitative and computing skills
sufficient to meet the demands of society.
