Project Expo 2021-22
The ECE Association (ECA) and IETE Students’ Forum (ISF), organized a Project Expo-2021 on 16 and 17 Dec 2021 at National

Instruments Graphical System Design Centre (NIGSDC) Laboratory. Students from all the departments visited the projects
demonstration. The students of 3 year, formed 22 teams (sixteen hardware and six software projects) and each team displayed

and demonstrated their innovative projects to the evaluators and the visitors. Many interesting projects from different domains
like IoT, Electrical, Machine learning, Web and App development were exhibited. Convener Dr. P Vetrivelan announced the results
and appreciated all participants.
The first prized was bagged by the project The second prize winning team (Athul Krishna R,
“Electricity theft detection system” by Gowsika D, Colin Rolance D and ShyamVikram S)
Naveena C and Rama Lakshmi S. demonstrating their project “A-EYE (See the
Deaf, Hear the Blind)”

The Department of Electronics and Communication The inaugural function for ECE Association (ECA) and IETE
Engineering conducted three days Faculty Development Students’ Forum (ISF) on 08.10.2021 with chief guest
Programme (FDP) on “Internet of Things and Wireless Sensor M Mr. Prakasham Ponnusamy, Software development specialist,
Network” from 20.12.2021 to 22.12.2021. The training was Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions, Coimbatore. Mr. M
conducted by Mr. V.S. Ramesh, Director, STEPS Knowledge M Sanjit, Secretary (ECA), and Mr. B Ram Narayan, President
Services Pvt Ltd, Coimbatore through Texas Instruments (ISF) presented the plan of activities. The chief guest Mr.
