The Department of Robotics and Autonomous Systems at PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research (PSG iTech) has been established with a vision to prepare future-ready engineers who can lead the rapidly evolving world of intelligent technologies.

The B.E. Robotics and Artificial Intelligence programme at PSG iTech has been carefully designed to provide students with a strong foundation in engineering principles while equipping them with advanced knowledge in robotics, artificial intelligence. A distinctive feature of our programme is the early exposure to Robotics and AI through both theory and practical courses from the very first year. This unique approach enables students to develop technical competence, creativity, and hands-on skills at the beginning of their academic journey.
Our curriculum emphasizes the integration of Artificial Intelligence with robotic systems, often referred to as Physical AI. Students learn not only how to develop intelligent algorithms but also how to deploy them in real-world robotic platforms that interact with the physical environment. Through experiential learning, interdisciplinary projects, research activities, innovation challenges, and industry collaborations, students gain the ability to transform ideas into impactful solutions.
