Student Induction Programme - 2021-22 (B. E.)

           On October 20, 2021, Shri. K Pandiarajan, Chairman, Ma Foi & CIEL Groups, Chennai, inaugurated PSG iTech’s First Year Induction
         Program for the  2021-25 batch. The event took place under the patronage of Dr. G. Chandramohan, the Principal, Shri. L. Gopalakrishnan,
         Managing Trustee, and Dr. P. V. Mohanram, Secretary. They educated the students about the institution, its management, and the
         state-of-the-art infrastructure amenities available. They also imparted significant life lessons and invaluable advice for living a happy and
         harmonious existence. The following week, students partook in diverse informative and engaging activities. The students acquired an
         ovrview of their departments and the many clubs present. They received live demonstrations of the basics of various laboratories. In the
         ove
         Universal Human Values sessions, which lasted two hours each day, students learned notions such as benevolent indifference, universal
         oneness, and other similar principles that help them self-introspect and have better interpersonal relationships. Hostel students indulged
         in physical activity sessions every morning.

         Intellectual personalities such as Mr. J. Udayanand, Niketa Constructions, Mr. S. Ramachandran, Infosys Knowledge Institute, Bangalore,
         and Dr. Sankaran, ISRO, inculcated knowledge about various technical and environmental aspects and motivated the students. Celebrated
         alumni such as Ms. Vidhya Raghunathan, Deloitte, Canada (CSE 2016-19), and Ms. K. Aparna, Cisco Systems, Bangalore (ECE 2016-19)
         ,shared their collegiate experiences and gave insight into multitudinous opportunities and challenges faced. The purpose was to prepare
         students physically, cognitively, and spiritually, and it was a success.On October 27, 2021, the occasion came to a close. Several students
         frm every group shared their experiences and takeaways from the program during the valedictory function. The top performers in various
         fro
         activities received prizes. Likewise, the faculty and staff received appreciation for their tireless efforts

           On November 15,2021, Ar. Sangeet Sharma, M/s. SD Sharma & Associates, Chandigarh, inaugurated PSG IAP’s First Year Induction
                         th
        Program for the 2021-2025 batch. The event took place in the presence of Shri. L. Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, and Dr. P.V. Mohanram,
        Secretary, Ar. K. Venkatesh Kumar, Principal (IAP), Dr. G. Chandramohan, Principal (iTech). The students were given a brief orientation on
        the campus, department, hostel and other amenities in the college. The week-long programme took off with icebreaker activities to many
        educative activities conducted by various professors from IAP and iTech and Mentors cum Experts Panel consisting eminent National level
        Arc
        Arhitects, Architectural firms and experts from various specialisations. Many activities and competitions were conducted to accentuate
        the talent in students. They also took part in Universal Human Values sessions which lasted one and half hours for two days where students
        learned many notions that help them better understand themselves. The programme came to end on 20 November, 2021. Students who

        excelled in the contests were awarded and everyone’s participation was highly appreciated. Following the Valedictory, Freshers celebration
        took place where students flaunted their talents through culturals.
