INDUSTRIAL VISITS
VISIT TO ARASUR SUBSTATION

On 29 November 2024, third-year students
from the Department of Electrical and
Electronics Engineering visited the Arasur
Substation to gain valuable insights into the
processes involved in power transmission and
distribution. The visit offered the students a
practical understanding of how electrical power
is transmitted and distributed across the grid,
from generation to end-users.
VISIT TO VASANTHA ADVANCED SYSTEMS

On 7 December 2024, students from the
Department of Electrical and Electronics
Engineering visited Vasantha Advanced
Systems to gain valuable insights into the PCB
(Printed Circuit Board) manufacturing process.
The visit was designed to provide students
with a practical understanding of one of the
most crucial components in modern
electronics.
