                                  MoU with Shree Renga Polymers

           On 10  July 2024, the Civil Engineering Department of PSG Institute of Technology and Applied
           Research (PSG iTech) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sri Renga Polymers,
           Karur.  The  MoU  was  formalized  by  Dr.  N.  Saravanakumar,  Principal  of  PSG  iTech,  and  Mr.  K.
           Sankar, Managing Director of Sri Renga Polymers.
           The collaboration aims to explore and study the physical and chemical properties of industrial
           waste generated by Sri Renga Polymers. The goal is to find solutions to convert this waste into
           value-added construction materials.
           Dr. M. I. Abdul Aleem, Professor and Head of Civil Engineering at PSG iTech, mentioned that
           potential applications include developing building materials such as bricks, blocks, tiles, artificial
           stones, and particle boards from the industrial waste.
