The harmony club of PSG iTech has
    conducted a short survey to know about
    the students’ life during the lockdown
    period due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
    The questions surveyed were, on how the
    lockdown influenced their learning ability
    and emotional stability. It was a useful
    survey
    surveyfor formulating recommendations
    on how students can be supported in such
    situations.
      The survey received a total of 106
    responses from students of all years.














                                                       A dumb charade competition was conducted by the
                                                                                       th
                                                     English Literary Forum on 26 February 2020. A total of
                                                     seven teams competed in the finals. Students across all
                                                     disciplines and from all the four years participated.  The
                                                     judges were Mr. N. Aravindhraj, Assistant Professor, CSE,
                                                     Ms. D. Archana, Assistant  Professor, ECE and Ms. A.
                                                     Jeyashree, Assistant Professor, EEE.  Identifying english
                                                     movies, English idioms and phrases and famous
                                                     movies,
                                                     monuments around the world were the three rounds in the
                                                     competition. The top three scorers were announced as
                                                     winners and prizes were distributed to the winning teams
                                                     by the judges.



      The Alpha Art 2k20 was organized by the Drawing
    and Painting club in order to kindle the artistic talents
    among the students of PSG Institute of Technology and
    Applied Research, during the extended lockdown
    period of the pandemic COVID-19. It was an Online
    Instagram Art Contest and the contest was open
    throughout the month of April. Around 50 participants
    from various branches enthusiastically participated in
    from
    the event exposing their artistic talents.
      The prize winners were selected based on their
    creativity, efforts and the number of likes to their post
    on social media. Students were allowed to promote
    their talents and were surprised to see the support they
    received from their friends, well-wishers and others. It
    served as a platform to showcase their passionate works
    to a larger audience. The winners of the contest were
    also announced online.
