FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK

Greetings from PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research.

I feel elated and proud in sharing with you our college newsletter “Tarangini”. “Tarangini”
will have the readers get a glimpse of the stream of academic, co-curricular and

extracurricular activities that mark the campus life at PSG iTech. We are a vibrant campus
with our academic calendar in its full spate marked with versatile events and programs.

Participation and involvement in the myriad events facilitates in mastering hard skills, soft
skills and social skills among the students.

At this juncture, I wish to share the thought of Swami Vivekananda who speaks of Education

as a man making process – a process that aids in the intellectual, vocational, social and
moral development of students enabling them to lead a meaningful life and contribute

towards nation building. Academic environment at PSG iTech synchronises with the sayings
of Swami Vivekananda, offering a conducive learning atmosphere to the students for their

transformation as employable graduates, responsible citizens and nation builders.

PSG iTech stands on the bedrock of visionary leadership, inspiring values, solid
infrastructure, ingenious faculty, pioneering research centres and assured placement
opportunities making the place ideal for holistic growth and development.

I hope and wish this newsletter will enthral its readers and will serve as a cue for perceiving

who we are and what we do.
The journey of ours will continue for eternity.

          Regards

          Dr. N Saravanakumar
          Principal
