Workshop on “Sensor Interface Using Lab VIEW”on January 31st, 2016, February 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2016.
A workshop on “Sensor Interface Using Lab VIEW” was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering for the first year students of PSGiTech on January 31st, 2016, February 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2016. Mr. Mohit Singhala, Final year student, Department of Mechanical Engineering, PSG College of Technology and Ms.M.Saranya, Project Engineer, Department of Robotics and Automation Engineering, PSG College of Technology were the resource persons. The workshop started with a welcome address delivered by Dr.E.Malar, HoD/Department of ECE. Dr.S.Udhayakumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, PSG College of Technology introduced the resource persons and gave a brief introduction about LabVIEW and its usage in Engineering Applications. The students were exposed to the LabVIEW environment, its features, dataflow programming, implementing a VI, data management operations and real time data acquisition and analysis. Almost 60 students of various departments actively attended the course.
