iTech Music Club

    The iTech Music was lauched on 7th February, 2015 on the occasion of the first Cultural Day, Advaya 2015, of PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research. Started with 11 student members and 3 faculty coordinators, at present the music club grown with more than 30 student members. Any event at PSG iTech ends up with a grand performance by the students of the iTech music.


Events
Around 10 students of iTech Music club performed a musical show organised for and by the Army Veterans at Kovai Army Officers Meeting hall, Red Fields on 18.09.2022. The performance included a variety of film songs in Tamil and English from the period 1960s to the recent ones.

PSG Vaanavil, a programme lecture series on spirituality, literature and health organized by PSG & Sons’ Charities on 4th Saturday of every month, was held on 27.8.2022. It started with a musical performance by the iTech Music Club students of PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research.

The first day of the PSG Kadambari, the four day Musical fest organised by PSG & Sons Charities, started as Dr. D. K. Pattammal’s Centenary Year Programme, where students from various PSG Institution rendered the famous kritis of Dr. D. K. Pattammal on 4th January 2019. Ms. G. Jayasree and Ms. R. M. Swaathi of IV BE Electronics and Communication Engineering of PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research performed in this event.
