The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has conducted a two day Value Added Course on Financial Management Services from 9th to 10th January 2020. The resource person was Mr. Anandamurthy, Senior Chartered Accountant and Investment Advisor (Level 1) certified by National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM).

The first session briefed about the introduction of financial management, the business structures, which provided an excellent bridge for the engineering students.

The second session was about the basic concepts and the fundamentals of banking, insurance, risk management and many other monetary investments.

The third session highlighted the terminologies used in mutual funds and, case studies were presented. The final session ended with tips in the area of financial management where the students interacted with the speaker to get an idea and clarity of their future plans. The students were envisioned with a bird�s eye view of investment banking and were provided help to achieve their financial goals.
