A three day one credit course on Machine Learning using python was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication from 25-06-2019 to 27-06-2019. Dr.T.Hamsapriya, HoD-ECE, PSGiTech, Dr.S.N.Deepa, Department of EEE, Anna University and Mr.Vamsee Krishna Kiran.M, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, Amrita University, Coimbatore were the resource persons for the one credit course.71 students of III year B.E ECE took up the course.
The main objective of the workshop was to give an exposure to machine learning algorithms and neural networks. The major topics covered in the course are supervised learning, unsupervised learning, back propagation networks, perceptron, hard computing and soft computing techniques, neural networks, machine learning algorithms. Hands on sessions on machine learning algorithms were given using Python (Anaconda platform).
