The students of third year Mechanical Engineering had an opportunity to visit Oriental Plants & Equipments Pvt. Ltd ., an unit of M/s. Propel Industries on 01.10.2019 along with faculty Mr. S Nanthakumar and Prof.K.Anantharaman. The students had an opportunity to visit the Manufacturing sector of the plant in which the people in the company were working for the projects related to Sanmar, Ashok Leyland, GE etc.,. Their field of work includes developing solutions for diverse sectors like Excavation, Compressors, Special Valves, and other critical components. The students had an opportunity to interact with the plant executives regarding practical applications and challenges in the industry. The students also visited M/s. Bull Machines on 01.10.2019, which is associated with the heavy construction equipment manufacturing sector which includes backhoe loaders, tractors, tractor attachments, bull dozers.
