A five day faculty development programme on Electromagnetic, Microwave, RF and Antenna design was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of PSGiTech from 20th to 24th November 2017. Two resource persons Mr.K.Kaviarasu and Mr.K.Karthikeyan from Entuple Technologies, Bangalore were the trainers. More than 20 faculty members and research scholars from various institutions have actively participated in the FDP. Introduction to RF-Microwave & Antenna, Measurement Parameters for RF- Microwave Antenna, Basic explanation regarding different EM Tools & Solvers and PM Explanation on HFSS. Hands on training on design and simulation of Band Pass Filters, Magic tee, Rectangular waveguide using HFSS were covered. It was helpful for the faculty who are teaching and pursuing research in RF-Microwave & Antenna.
