The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a webinar on VLSI SoC Design using Open source EDA tools from 4.00pm to 5.00 pm on 4.7.2020. Mr.M.Kunal Ghosh, Director and Co-founder of VSD Corporation Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore was the resource person. Package view of chips, how chip is interconnected with the package, Hardware IPs were illustrated during the webinar. A demo on Open source tools Yosys, Graywolf, Repalce, TrironCTS was carried out for the design and Implementation of Serial Peripheral Interface Integrated circuits. The design parameters like area, power and timing have been simulated and layout was created. Totally 73 participants get benefitted from this programme Dr.M.Jayasanthi ASP/ECE and Mr.K.Paldurai AP(Sr.Gr.) /ECE were the co-coordinators of this programme.
